I'm a gay/queer, Filipino-American immigrant, musical theater-loving, trying to cook all the things, culturally immersed, family-oriented, entrepreneurially spirited, digital marketing communications professional. 💜✨


 

I believe that social and digital content should reflect the societies and communities that we serve.

All social and digital content should be equitable and inclusive for all audiences that can either relate to them or gain access to them. 
 

My digital marketing communications approach is creating integrated, inclusive, and accessible strategies that are impactful and conversion-driven. I have had the pleasure to work and collaborate in industries including nonprofits, tourism and hospitality, arts and culture, higher education, agencies, and small businesses.

ChooseU (fka. Generation USA) 

Education-to-Workforce Nonprofit

Managing Director of Marketing and Communications

  • Managed, collaborated with, and empowered a 3-person team and several third-party agencies.
     

  • 65% of program registrations started from the team's integrated digital marketing communications efforts.
     

  • Successfully led a 3-month rebranding exercise from Generation USA to ChooseU, including launching a new website, digital marketing infrastructures, and institutional branding.
     

  • Secured an additional $200,000 of annual funding for marketing and communications efforts for tech programming.

GLSEN

LGBTQ+ Nonprofit Advocacy (K-12 Schools)

Digital Engagement Manager

  • Managed and collaborated with a Digital Engagement Associate and a digital and creative agency. 
     

  • Implemented a successful in-house paid social media strategy for the 2021 National School Climate Survey, including TikTok ads. As a result, advertising costs were reduced by $20,000 while increasing 2,000 valid survey responses.
     

  • Developed relationships with content creators, influencers, and regional and local chapters to help deploy GLSEN national content and resources .

  • Achieved a 997% return in ticket sales from an in-house paid social media ad spend for the 2019-2020 Broadway Series.
     

  • Created and launched a video series during the COVID-19 pandemic titled Intermission.
     

  • Collaborated with producing companies, Broadway shows, and brands like HAMILTON, CATS the Musical, Josh Groban, and Diana Ross.

Digital Marketing Coordinator

  • Oversaw a $100,000 in-house and agency recruitment and lead-generation advertising strategy with the Office of Admissions, increasing first-time-in-college student enrollment by 17% and graduate student enrollment by 25% from the previous admissions cycle.
     

  • Originated and served as Chairman of the Visibility Committee of the Chancellor's Advisory Council on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
