Social media content as a whole can be overwhelming and does create chaos and noise throughout the digital ecosystem, especially with all the political and social divisions both in the United States and the world.

So . . . how can businesses and brands succeed in posting up content on their Facebook pages, Twitter and Instagram handles, and Pinterest boards? This is especially helpful for business owners and for upcoming social media coordinators, who are just beginning their social media presence.

I always follow these two concepts when posting content on social media, and that is posting content that is INSIGHTFUL and DELIGHTFUL.

What does that mean . . . check out the video below for a little teaser:

Let’s go a little bit more into detail on why posting some social media content works better than others.

INSIGHTFUL CONTENT:

Curated pieces of content such as articles from industry professionals

Original videos or blog posts and content from your website

DELIGHTFUL CONTENT:

The “human” and authentic side (video or photo) that showcases your organization or brand.

  • I love taking photos and videos for my Instagram and Facebook pages. I always tie in my true professional self, and how I am as a storyteller.

  • For example, this photo that’s on my Facebook page. I’m an LGBTQ+ individual, and I enjoy moments outside my house/office when working remotely. I aspire to be transparent on social media and authentic to my audience.

I hope that you and your brand can find insightful and delightful content when placing on your social media handles. Remember, to keep the content authentic to your brand, and analyze if that content elevates your story or not. I would love to help your business find your insightful and delightful content for your social media handles. Please check out some of my delightful content or contact me at angelojasa@gmail.com.
